1. About us
We are an animal rescue charity that works with the people of Newcastle, Central Coast, The Hunter areas and beyond to rescue, rehome and rehabilitate animals in need. We offer community services and conduct programs to assist pet owners whose personal circumstances limit their ability to properly care for their pets. As we receive no funding from the government, we rely entirely on the generosity of our supporters to maintain our vital community services.

3. What personal information does Helping Hearts Animal Rescue Inc collect?
‘Personal Information’ is information about an identifiable individual, and may include information such as the individual’s name, email address, telephone number, residential address, postal address, occupation, extracurricular commitments. For this reason, we may ask you to provide personal information when filling out official paperwork (such as adoption information) or an online form. We will use this information to try to ensure that the animal up for adoption or fostering is appropriate to your home environment and suitable to your current and future needs.
4. How Helping Hearts Animal Rescue Inc collects personal information
Generally, we collect personal information directly from you, for example when you deal directly with us in person, over the telephone, by completing Helping Hearts Animal Rescue Inc. standard forms, social media or email.
